Information We Collect

From Merchants (Shopify Store Owners)

Store name, URL, and contact details, Account owner/admin email address, Billing and subscription details (processed securely by Shopify; we do not store card details). App usage data such as features used and support history

From Merchant Customers (your end-customers)

Depending on configuration, Recvr may process: Order information (order ID, line items, order totals, applied discounts), Customer email and/or name (only where required for functionality), Checkout interactions related to discount recovery or conversion.

Automatically Collected

Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device info, App performance and error logs.

How We Use Information

We use the collected data to: Provide, maintain, and improve Recvr, process and validate discounts at checkout, enable order editing and recovery features, monitor app performance and troubleshoot issues. communicate with you regarding support, updates, or billing. Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell or rent any personal data.

Sharing of Information

We only share your data in these cases:

With Shopify, as required to provide the app. With service providers such as hosting, analytics, and support partners under strict data protection agreements. With legal authorities, if required to comply with applicable law. As part of a business transfer, subject to equivalent protections

International Data Transfers

Recvr is operated from the UK. Data may be transferred to and processed in other jurisdictions where our service providers are located. We use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.

Data Retention

Merchant data: kept while your subscription is active, plus up to 90 days after uninstallation (unless required longer by law)

End-customer order data: retained only as long as needed to provide app functionality, then deleted or anonymised

Support communications: retained as long as reasonably necessary for business and compliance

As a Shopify merchant, you can:

Access and update your account information

Request deletion of your data by uninstalling the app and contacting us

If you are a merchant’s customer, please contact the merchant directly to exercise your rights. We process your data only on the merchant’s behalf.
